Colorado MMA fans are in for a treat as Zach Makovsky and Tim Elliot will be ready to throwdown in Broomfield.

UFC officials announced the bout on Monday.

Makovsky (18-5) is a former Bellator bantamweight champion and RFA flyweight champion. After joining the UFC in late 2013, Makovsky got two big wins over Scott Jorgensen and Josh Sampo; both of which by decision. This past August, he dropped a decision to Jussier Formiga in Bangor, Maine.

Elliot (10-5-1) is 2-3 in the UFC since joining in May of 2012. He made an unsuccessful, but still rather impressive, UFC debut against John Dodson, then racked off consecutive wins over Papazian and Gaudinot. Since then he has dropped two fights to two flyweight contenders; Ali Bagautinov and Joseph Benavidez, the latter being a first round submission.

The bouts placement on the card is unknown at this time.

UFC Fight Night from Colarado is set to take place on February 14 at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado. A main event has not been announced.
