UFC Vegas 106: All Contests Cleared for Takeoff with Friday Weigh-Ins

UFC Vegas 106 is almost here. Tomorrow evening, the UFC Apex facility in Enterprise, NV serves as the host venue for the final event from MMA’s No. 1 promotion in the world. All that stands between the fighters and the walk to the famous Octagon are the ceremonial weigh-ins later on today.

Live coverage of tomorrow’s show begins in the late afternoon at 4 pm ET/ 1 pm PT on ESPN+ with the undercard, followed at 7 pm ET/ 4 pm PT with the main card. 12 bouts are on the schedule for tomorrow night at UFC Vegas 106.

Earlier Friday, the official weigh-in window took place. Unlike some weigh-ins that have happened in the past, this morning’s trip to the scales provided nothing in the way of drama.

UFC Vegas 106 Main Event Locked In Following Weigh-In

At the top of the bill for tomorrow night’s extravaganza of competitive violence is a welterweight showcase matching No. 8 contender Gilbert Burns (22-8 MMA, 15-8 UFC) and No. 12 contender Michael Morales (17-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC.) This five-round headliner will go ahead as scheduled after both contestants tipped the scales within the 171-lb nontitle maximum for welterweights.

Burns weighed-in at 170 lbs on the button, while Morales clocked in at 170 1/2 lbs.

UFC Vegas 106 Co-Main Event Ready to Go for Tomorrow Night

Right before the headliner, the co-main attraction of the night sees a light heavyweight tussle matching Rodolfo Bellato (12-2-1 MMA, 1-0-1 UFC) with Paul Craig (17-9-1 MMA, 9-9-1 UFC). The former tipped the scales at 205 1/2 lbs, with the latter coming in at 205 even.
