Arman Tsarukyan Predicted Mauricio Ruffy outcome Perfectly a Month Ago

Arman Tsarukyan is on top of the world at the moment. With a lot of pressure on his shoulders, the Armenian delivered one of the best fights of his career. Clashing against Mauricio Ruffy, ‘Ahalkalakets’ proved his dominance. Surprisingly, he had already predicted the outcome of his fight accurately almost a month back. 

Following his first round victory at UFC 331, Tsarukyan is now a serious contender for the title. But he accurately called the outcome of the fight a month back. In a recently resurfaced video, Tsarukyan is spotted in a KICK stream with N3ON. When the streamer asked him about the fight, the Armenian star stated that he will end the fight with an elbow. 

Walking into the fight, Ruffy was being favored by many. In fact, if Ruffy would have managed to beat Tsarukayn, he could have become a serious contender for Justin Gaethje’s title, but Tsarukyan looked focused right from the word go. He immediately went on the offensive and knocked out Ruffy with an elbow within the opening round. 

This was a surprise for many. The UFC lightweight star was expected to adopt a wrestling-first approach. But his elite striking skills proved how well-rounded a fighter ‘Ahalkalakets’ really is. 

Will UFC Give Arman Tsarukyan Title Shot? 

At the moment, things stand at a very interesting point in the lightweight division. Previously, it was heavily pushed that Ilia Topuria might get an immediate rematch against Justin Gaethje. But now, with Tsarukyan proving his worth, calls for him to get a title fight have mounted significantly. 

Stepping on the gas, Tsarukyan, too, has pointed out that he wants to fight Gaethje next. Such a scenario might result in Topuria waiting for his rematch a bit longer. UFC might even match the Spaniard against Paddy Pimblett before giving him a title shot.
