Brendan Allen vs. Christian Leroy Duncan set for UFC Vegas 122 main event

The middleweights will put their winning streaks on the line at the Meta Apex in October.
Brendan Allen has his next fight booked. The UFC has announced that the American will face Christian Leroy Duncan in the main event of UFC Vegas 122 on Oct. 10 at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas. The matchup will pit two fighters on winning streaks against each other as they look to move closer to the top of the middleweight division.
Brendan Allen Wants to Keep Momentum Going
Currently sitting at No. 4 in the middleweight division, Allen enters the matchup riding a three-fight winning streak. After suffering back to back losses to Nassourdine Imavov and Anthony Hernandez, the American fighter was able to find his good form again, winning three consecutive bouts. Allen's last Octagon appearance was in June when he defeated Edmen Shahbazyan by unanimous decision.
Christian Leroy Duncan Looks to Extend Winning Streak
Meanwhile, Duncan is enjoying one of the best runs of his career. After making his UFC debut in 2023 and going 2-3 in his first five promotional appearances, the former Cage Warriors middleweight champion managed to end his rough stretch and win five consecutive fights. The matchup against Allen will mark Duncan's second appearance this year, as the British fighter has already faced Roman Dolidze in March and Jared Cannonier in July. Duncan won both fights by unanimous decision and now sits at No. 10 on the division.
