On Friday, Bellator MMA sent a press release to media members that lightweight Gilbert Melendez had agreed to terms with the organization.
The terms were not clear, however it was stated that it was multi-year and multi-fight. UFC has the option to match the offer made by Bellator.
Melendez’s head coach, Cesar Gracie, took to Twitter and let UFC President Dana White know that all of his fighters could go the same way if he’s not careful.
