As of yet, we don't know whether he will compete at heavyweight or super heavyweight.
Chris Barnett's Career
Pre-UFC
One of the most likeable personalities in the entire MMA game, Chris Barnett began his MMA career in 2009. He amassed an impressive record of 13-1 and would continue to make a name for himself in Japan, competing at both heavyweight and super heavyweight.
In the midst of his early MMA days, Barnett had six boxing fights, including a match-up with Trevor Bryan, the former WBA (Regular) heavyweight champion.
UFC Career
Barnett would make his UFC debut against Ben Rothwell, and although he would lose the fight, he would get another shot.

That next outing saw him take on Gian Villante. What played out was one of the most shocking finishes in the history of the heavyweight division. Due to his kickboxing background, Barnett has always attempted plenty of flashy strikes during his time in both the UFC and beforehand.
Throwing a spinning heel kick, Barnett dropped Villante, followed up with several strikes and got the performance of the night bonus.

The remainder of his UFC career would see him go 1-3.
Power Slap is set to return on September 17th with Power Slap 23: Wolverine vs. Greenhalgh.
