“If She Wants To”: Arman Tsarukyan Reveals Nina Drama Will Corner Him for His Next Fight
The #1-ranked UFC lightweight has already sorted out his celebrity corner situation. However, this time it won’t be N3on, as he is set for a different role.
Arman Tsarukyan, known for his social media antics, hyped his fight weeks before UFC 331 by confirming he would walk out to N3on’s song before revealing that the streamer would be in his corner.
He then went on to knock out Mauricio Ruffy at UFC 331 last weekend with N3on and former UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev in his corner.
Now, the Armenian star confirmed that his close friend Nina Drama will get the spot next. Meanwhile, N3on might corner Khamzat Chimaev.
Arman Tsarukyan Says Nina Drama Gets the Spot Next
After his big win, Tsarukyan was asked if Nina Drama and N3on would have to compete for the cornerman spot in his title fight. Tsarukyan was direct. He stated, “Next one is Nina, that's confirmed. She'll be in the corner for the title fight. Yeah, if she wants to come. I haven't talked to her, but I said that.”
Furthermore, Tsarukyan provided more clarity on N3on’s spot. He said, “I needed three real cornermen. How's N3on gonna feel about that? He's gonna be sad. Khamzat maybe gonna take him."
Nina Drama and N3on have contributed massively to Tsarukyan’s social media growth. The UFC president Dana White himself acknowledged the Armenian star’s rising profile, crediting the streamer and Nina Drama’s influence.
Tsarukyan walking out on N3on’s song and the corner situation definitely felt like branded content dressed up as an MMA fight. Regardless, Tsarukyan got the job done and secured his spot in the title.
What the Title Scenario Actually Looks Like
Arman Tsarukyan defeated a seasoned striker, Mauricio Ruffy, by landing two strong elbows to the temple in the first round. It was a statement win for the Armenian.
Dana White confirmed Tsarukyan has earned a shot at Justin Gaethje’s lightweight title next. However, Gaethje is sidelined due to injuries suffered in the Ilia Topuria fight.
Gaethje himself confirmed he is targeting a return no earlier than early 2027. And now he has a mandatory challenger for the same. The location and date for the fight are yet to be confirmed.
