MMA fans react to the UFC releasing different angles of Song Yadong's KO win over Umar Nurmagomedov

Song Yadong secured a spectacular second-round KO victory against Umar Nurmagomedov and has been the talk of the town since, with a number of fans rewatching and breaking down the lightning-fast finish. 

The UFC has now put forth footage of different angles of Yadong's terrifying win over Nurmagomedov. MMA fans soon chimed in with their reactions to the same. 

Song Yadong's vicious KO win against Umar Nurmagomedov at UFC Shanghai

Song Yadong entered the headlining match of UFC Shanghai on August 29, having vowed to beat the formidable Umar Nurmagomedov. The consensus was that Nurmagomedov's grappling, what with him training alongside the likes of his younger brother Usman Nurmagomedov and legendary cousin Khabib Nurmagomedov, would nullify Yadong's slick striking skills. 

Nevertheless, "The Kung Fu Kid" kept his composure and ended up catching his Dagestani foe with a thunderous right hand that appeared to be a grazing strike from the head to the neck. It ended up knocking Nurmagomedov out cold, and a few ground strikes to the already-incapacitated grappling savant earned Yadong the KO win. 

The skilled combatant, who captivated the fans in attendance in his home country of China, proceeded to affirm that he'd like a UFC bantamweight title shot next.

Reigning UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan is booked to defend his belt in a rubber match against Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi on October 24. It's believed that Yadong could face the Yan-Dvalishvili trilogy matchup's winner for the title.

The fight's aftermath nearly saw another fight break out, as PFL lightweight champion and potential future UFC star Usman Nurmagomedov scaled the Octagon fence in the blink of an eye and rushed to his unconscious brother. Usman also seemed to partially collide with Yadong, who was running around and celebrating his victory. 

The UFC has now put forth a video of multiple angles of the thunderous knockout. Posted to the official UFC YouTube channel, it also comprises the post-fight sequence of Usman Nurmagomedov almost landing, what looked like, a spinning elbow at Yadong.

Many fans praised the UFC for ensuring that the footage was captured and presented beautifully from various angles. Taking to the YouTube video's comments section, a fan wrote, "That was cool more of this ufc." Another fan noted, "Okay, the 'Crazy Angle' of Song Yadong's knockout really does hit different. What a finish!" 

One observer alluded to a significant point of discussion about the finish, which is that it saw Yadong hit Nurmagomedov's neck in a dangerous angle. Also a netizen suggested that the UFC ought to film and release more videos of this ilk, which showcase finishing sequences from amazing angles. The fan wrote, "They should do more of this, it's awesome." 

Furthermore, several fans lambasted Usman Nurmagomedov for scaling the fence and approaching a downed Umar Nurmagomedov, as well as nearly knocking out Yadong with an elbow.
