ONE Championship has granted Nabil Anane and Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon their wishes. The organization has announced two blockbuster World Title matches for ONE Friday Fights 147 on Friday, March 20, broadcasting live in Asia primetime from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

First, the promotion confirmed that Nabil Anane will make his first ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title defense against the Thai knockout machine. Rambolek called out the Thai-Algerian giant following his explosive knockout victory over the champ’s teammate, Abdulla Dayakaev, at ONE Fight Night 39 in January. The 21-year-old champion was backstage during the post-fight interview and immediately accepted the challenge.

The card also features Muay Thai legend Nong-O Hama meeting Russian rising star Asadula Imangazaliev for the vacant ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title. The 39-year-old Thai icon, who previously held the promotion’s bantamweight belt, brings 267 career victories into this championship opportunity against the undefeated 22-year-old phenom.

Nabil Anane Faces Superbon’s Protege in First Title Defense

Nabil Anane brings a 41-5 professional striking record into his first title defense against the dangerous Thai challenger. The Team Mehdi Zatout representative rebounded from his promotional debut loss with seven consecutive victories that showcased his world-class striking abilities.

The 6-foot-4 star shocked the world in January 2025 by knocking out Nico Carrillo to capture the division’s interim gold. Two months later at ONE 172, Anane avenged his promotional debut loss by ripping through pound-for-pound great Superlek. A few months later, he was elevated to undisputed champion.

Rambolek, Nabil Anane’s opponent, represents Superbon Training Camp as a protege of both Superbon and Nong-O. The challenger brings a 67-14 career record and a five-bout winning streak into the contest. His current run is highlighted by three consecutive knockouts.

A New Flyweight Muay Thai World King Will Be Crowned

The second title bout crowns a new flyweight Muay Thai king as 39-year-old Nong-O seeks 26-pound gold once again. The Thai icon’s 267 career victories and 12-4 promotional record showcase his legendary status earned through decades of competition.

Nong-O previously held the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title for nearly four years. Now at flyweight, the legend seeks to become a two-division champion and prove he remains dangerous despite his age.

Imangazaliev brings a perfect 11-0 career record and 7-0 promotional mark with six finishes into this title opportunity. The 22-year-old Russian has systematically destroyed every opponent since arriving at ONE Championship, establishing himself as one of the division’s most dangerous fighters.

Two Team Mehdi Zatout representatives will compete for World Titles on the same card. Nabil Anane defends his bantamweight crown while Imangazaliev challenges for vacant flyweight gold, creating potential for a historic night for the renowned training camp.

Nabil Anane’s journey from debut loss to undisputed champion demonstrates the training camp’s ability to develop world-class strikers. His victories over Carrillo and Superlek established him among bantamweight Muay Thai’s most accomplished young titleholders.

Imangazaliev’s perfect record through seven promotional appearances highlights Team Mehdi Zatout’s depth of talent across multiple weight divisions. The undefeated Russian’s six finishes prove he possesses the finishing ability necessary for championship success. A double championship victory would further establish Team Mehdi Zatout as one of the world’s premier training facilities.

ONE Friday Fights 147 airs live on beIN Sports USA on Friday, March 20, at 7:30 a.m. ET/7:30 p.m. ICT.
