Ravena Oliveira remains calm despite uncertain UFC future

The Brazilian says she isn't worried about her situation in the promotion and reveals plans to return to bantamweight after UFC Vegas 120.
Ravena Oliveira has never won a fight in the UFC. Since her promotional debut in October 2023, the Brazilian has stepped into the Octagon three times and has been defeated in all of those bouts.
As one might expect, those results have put her in a delicate position within the organization. Ravena, however, doesn't seem concerned about it. In fact, "Kenoudy" says she is "living her dream" by fighting in the UFC and has already decided to move back to the bantamweight division after Saturday's fight.
Ravena Oliveira Remains Calm Despite Pressure
Scheduled to face Juliana Miller at UFC Vegas 120 this Saturday, Oliveira is under considerable pressure after three straight losses since joining the UFC. Despite the fact that she may be fighting for her future in the promotion, the Brazilian remains calm. Speaking to Ag Fight, Oliveira dismissed the pressure and stated she is happy to be competing in the biggest MMA promotion in the world.
"I'm at peace with it. My life has always had its ups and downs. Nothing has ever been linear for me. So I'm at peace. I'm living my dream and doing what I love."
Ravena Oliveira Plans Return to Bantamweight
In addition to the challenges inside the Octagon, Oliveira seems to have also struggled with finding the right weight class to compete. Since joining the UFC, Kenoudy has fought in the bantamweight and strawweight divisions and will now face Miller in a flyweight bout. After this fight, the Brazilian plans to permanently return to bantamweight, where she feels most comfortable competing and has more training partners.
"Actually, when I fought at bantamweight, that was the UFC's decision," Oliveira said. "Tainara Lisboa's opponent pulled out, so they called me on short notice. Bantamweight wasn't my division at the time. Then we decided to move down to strawweight. I enjoyed the experience, but I feel much more comfortable fighting in heavier weight classes. Then this flyweight opportunity came up, which my team requested. But after this fight, I'm moving back up to bantamweight because that's my natural weight class and I also have more training partners there. That's the plan."
Before thinking about her return to bantamweight, however, Oliveira first needs to get past Miller this Saturday. A victory would not only snap her losing streak but also strengthen her position in the UFC as she prepares for another change in weight class.
