#1) What is your least favourite part of your warm-up?

Running around the mat in circles. I absolutely fucking hate running around the mat in circles!

#2) What submission do you catch most often in training?

Whatever people give me 😉

#3) what is your most embarassing training accident?

Haha! I used to do S&C w/ Zack Makovsky at Drexel U when I lived in Philly. When he introduced me to resistance bands, I didn’t quite grasp the idea of “start easy and test out the resistance.” I watched him do it a few times and was like, “Ok cool, got it.” It was tethered to a post behind me, and I had to run hard, hit a certain point then a controlled back peddle to release the tension. He warned me not not to stand straight up, and to remain on my toes while going backward. Well, I was pumped to get this under way an wanted to blast through this workout. So I took off hard at the timer, and stretched the resistance a little farther than the line, my feet started to slide backward from the tension and when I went to stabilize myself I must have straightened up a little bit, and the band snatched me off the ground and flung me backward, through the air, across the room, where I landed at the base of the pole. I just laid there with the wind knocked out of me, trying to figure out what happened. Zack looked really startled, I don’t think he was expecting that LOL!

#4) If you could banish one person from MMA, who would it be and why?

I’m pretty sure everyone knows who I’d “banish”…

#5) Have you ever had to, under any circumstances, share a bed with a teammate?

Yeah, when you’re a bunch of broke fighters you tend to make the best of what you’re given. We’ll pile 9-10 people into a room at fights & tourneys!
