"That b**tard" - Tresean Gore and MMA fans react to his injury, win over Vicente Luque at UFC 330

Tresean Gore secured what many believe is the biggest victory of his professional MMA career thus far, as he beat UFC staple Vicente Luque via unanimous decision. 

Gore's win over the former UFC welterweight elite and current middleweight contender came in a back-and-forth middleweight clash, which opened the UFC 330 prelims. 

The fight -- which went down at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia on August 15 -- saw Gore suffer a glaring dental injury. The UFC fighter and a number of MMA fans soon issued their reactions to the same. 

Tresean Gore credits lifestyle changes and faith for win; reacts after the injury-induced sight of gore

Speaking to veteran UFC color commentator Joe Rogan in his post-fight Octagon interview, Tresean Gore discussed his victory over Vicente Luque. 

He seemingly cited a few lifestyle changes and his faith -- expressing his gratitude toward God -- for helping him improve and score the win. Gore stated: 

"I feel like I'm getting better. I'm living disciplined now. I don't smoke we*d anymore. I don't drink. I don't watch p**n*graphy. And I give all glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He saved my life. He saved my soul. And I'm just grateful." 

Rogan chimed in and noted that Gore seemed to have sustained quite a serious injury to his lower teeth. The middleweight reacted by indicating that a flying knee from Luque injured him.

Addressing the gory injury, Gore noted, "Yeah. That b**tard freakin knocked some of my lower teeth out with the flying knee." Pointing it out, he said, "Right here." 

The 32-year-old suggested that he was unfazed by it and pleased to have notched two paychecks, one being his purse to compete (show purse) and the other being a payday for his victory (win purse). Gore implied that he'll use the extra pay to fix his teeth. 

Moreover, the UFC's production team notably displayed what appeared to be a broken tooth in a gloved hand of the personnel inside the Octagon.

Gore responded to seeing the tooth by saying, "Yeah. That's one of my tooth from the bottom." He and Rogan seemed to concur that he'll get new teeth. "Mr. Vicious" further signaled that it wasn't his best performance but will keep improving, underscoring that he's here to stay.

MMA fans react to Tresean Gore's gory injury at UFC 330

Fight fans put forth their reactions to Tresean Gore's performance and injury against Vicente Luque at UFC 330. Many heaped praise on his ability to beat a veteran combatant like Luque despite sustaining a gruesome dental injury from Luque's scary striking. 

Taking to the comments section of the video of Gore's Octagon interview on the UFC's official YouTube channel, a fan jested, saying, "All time interview."

Another observer drew attention to the irony of the gore created by the injury and the fighter's name, stating, "Gore showing his mouth and living up to his name..." 

A commenter lauded Gore, writing, "We love Tresean Gore," whereas others urged the UFC to pay him separately to cover expenses stemming from the injury. 

A few fans alluded that Gore's lifestyle improvements were commendable. Meanwhile, a netizen expressed respect for both Gore and Luque after the gritty showdown: "What a battle!"
