Tony Ferguson Slams Misfits Boxing Roster in Wild Press Conference Outburst

Former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson is no stranger to chaotic fight weeks, but the fan-favorite veteran reached his boiling point at a wild Misfits Boxing press conference in Miami. Ahead of his Misfits middleweight title defense against short-notice opponent Mahmoud Sebie, Ferguson unleashed a fiery rant aimed at his fellow fighters on the card over their unprofessional influencer antics. The former Octagon star, who put together a legendary 12-fight winning streak during his peak in the UFC lightweight division, was unimpressed by the crude stunts taking place on stage.

Calling Out the Circus Environment

The commotion reached a breaking point when rowdy exchanges and inappropriate onstage antics forced Ferguson’s family to leave the venue entirely. Taking the microphone, the 42-year-old combat sports icon pulled no punches while reprimanding the entire roster for prioritizing cheap social media views over true sportsmanship.

"My kids had to walk out because you guys are f***ing up," Ferguson blurted out to the panel. "You guys want to do this for views and stuff? Imagine you, imagine your kids later on watching this sh*t."

The outburst got even wilder when fellow competitor Nathan Barnatt, known as "Dad," asked if Ferguson was speaking directly to him. Without hesitation, Ferguson snapped back, "Oh yeah, I'm gonna kick your a-- afterwards, too," before passionately reminding everyone on stage that the impressionable young fans watching these events are the ones who will grow up to lead the country.

Ferguson noted that during his lengthy career under the UFC banner, he had never witnessed such tasteless behavior during pre-fight media events. "El Cucuy" even admitted he resorted to putting in his headphones and reciting the rosary on stage just to maintain his inner peace amidst the circus atmosphere.

Despite the chaotic press conference drama, Ferguson remains dialed in and focused on handling business inside the squared circle. Whether he is bloodying opponents in the Octagon or defending titles in crossover boxing,  Ferguson proved once again that he will always stand up for professionalism when lines get crossed.
