In the co-main event, Quillan Salkilld, braved an early knockdown to score a massive knockout triumph over lightweight contender Beneil Dariush.

UFC Perth: Louie Sutherland def. Tai Tuivasa
Louie Sutherland
Sutherland's decision win over Tuivasa ended a previous two-fight losing streak. It also earned him his first victory inside the Octagon after dropping both his debut and sophomore matches by first round knockout
Out of his 11 wins as a professional, only three have gone to the scorecards

Tuivasa' loss to Sutherland was his seventh loss in a row. He has not won a fight since starching Derrick Lewis back in 2022 at UFC 271.

Pericic's win over Gaziev is his fifth win in a row. He has now stopped all three of his UFC opponents, taking them all out by strikes.
The victory also netted him his first Fight of the Night bonus, making it his second post-bout award after previously scoring a Performance of the Night honor in his company debut.

Gaziev has now lost two consecutive contests after falling to Waldo Cortes-Acosta in his last scrap at UFC Fight Night: Tsarukyan vs. Hooker last year.

Marwan Rahiki
Rahiki's knockout win over Schmid extended his undefeated record to 9-0, preserving his 100 percent finishing rate. He has now accumulated four first-round victories stemming from strikes.

Steve Erceg
Erceg has now won two fights in a row after previously defeating Ode' Osbourne last August at UFC Vegas 109.His 136 significant strikes landed on Elliot marks the most he had delivered to an opponent in the UFC.

Elliott's loss to Erceg spells the end of his two-fight winning streak.His inclusion on the UFC Perth card was the first time he had ever competed in Australia in his entire combat sports career. He was also the oldest fighter at the event at 39 years old.

Quillan Salkilld
Salkilld's win over Dariush was his third successive first-round finish victory, with him earning a post-fight honor in all of them. Nine of his 12 wins have ended by stoppage
He has won 12 consecutive bouts after losing in his professional debut back in 2021.

Dariusj has now lost by knockout in both of his previous two matches, losing last November at UFC 322 in just 16 seconds to Benoît Saint Denis. His loss to Salkilld is his first setback to a non-ranked name in five years.
He is now 1-4 in his last five bouts

Carlos Prates
Prates' win over Della Maddalena was his second victory over a former UFC champion. His three knockdowns over “JDM” was also the most he had ever taken down an adversary in the Octagon since his dismantling of Li Jingliang at UFC 305.
He now ties the record for most knockdowns in the promotion’s welterweight division with 12, sharing this accolade with Thiago Alves.

Della Maddalena has now lost two fights in a row. The loss to Prates served as the first time had been finished by strikes since his professional debut over ten years ago back in 2016.
UFC Perth also was his first bout in his native country in over three years, last competing there at UFC 284 against Randy Brown
