MMASucka Staff Picks: PFL Wichita (2025)

Keeping their 2025 season going strong, the PFL heads to Kansas for PFL Wichita, the first time to showcase the very best that their lightweight, bantamweight, and women’s flyweight divisions have to offer. Taking top billing in PFL Wichita, Russian bulldozer Gadzhi Rabadanov faces off with one-time UFC title challenger Kevin Lee. In the penultimate match of the night, female mixed martial arts luminary Liz Carmouche locks horns with the unblemished Elora Dana.

PFL Wichita Main Event

Riding an 11-fight win streak, Rabadanov stands as one of the top 155-lb fighters in the entire promotion heading into PFL Wichita. Coming off of a dominant first-round bludgeoning knockout over Marc Diakiese, the man from Dagestan is primed to enter the finals on his quest to earn another PFL championship.

Making his way back into a major organization after seven years with the UFC, Lee finds himself in one of the most important scraps of his career. Slotted into the top-billed fight of the evening, the “Motown Phenom” is seeking to extend his current win streak to two after picking up a submission victory last year at Lights Out Championship 17.

PFL Wichita Co-Main Event

Collecting three title defenses during her run as the Bellator flyweight queen, Carmouche has her eyes fixated on earning another title to her already extensive championship resume. Despite her age, “Girl-Rilla” remains a powerful fixture in the realm of women’s combat sports.

With an undefeated record of 8-0 coming into PFL Wichita, Dana enters her second contest in the PFL as a considerable prospect, honing her skill set on the competitive Brazilian scene. Capitalizing on the promotional debut with a first round submission, “Onca Negra” is gearing up to grapple with the most world-class opponent she has ever dealt with.

More Bouts On the PFL Wichita Main Card

Also on the main card, Mansour Barnaoui battles Archie Colgan. Then, UFC alum Jake Hadley goes up against Marcirley Alves. Also, previous Bellator lightweight king Brent Primus is aiming to secure his second straight win by taking out Alfie Davis. Finally, Justin Wetzell goes toe-to-toe with Ultimate Fighter veteran Mando Gutierrez.

PFL Wichita Predictions and Staff Picks

MMASucka staff picks are composed of four of the world’s leading mixed martial arts organizations: the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the Professional Fighters League (PFL), ONE Championship (ONE FC), and Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS).

  • UFC picks will include main card fights ranging from four to six matchups per event.
  • PFL picks from main cards for pay-per-views and from tournament fights in the Regular Season, Playoffs, and Finals.
  • ONE FC and DWCS picks will feature all MMA fights from the event with a minimum of three matchups.

The individual who picks the most victorious fighters by the end of 2025 will have a choice between receiving a custom-made championship belt from ProAmBelts or a detailed chain from Championship Chains. Staff picks in 2023 were won by Ben Jamieson with a record of 300-148.
