Daniel Cormier was in shock when he heard that Arman Tsarukyan streams for 10 hours a day, the UFC fighter then explained his routine to DC.

Top UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan has found a unique way to bridge the gap between fight fans and his life outside the Octagon. Speaking with former two-division champion Daniel Cormier in an interview, the 29-year-old opened up about his decision to broadcast his personal life through massive 10-hour daily livestreams.

Cormier pressed Tsarukyan on what inspired the move to long-form streaming, asking if the goal was to showcase a softer side so fans would fall in love with his personality. Tsarukyan explained that standard social media clips simply don't give people a true sense of who he is.

"I started doing streaming for people to see my personalities because in video you just talk and then leave, but they can't see what you do," Tsarukyan said. "Like, whole day we spend like 10 hours."

Stunned by the sheer length of the broadcasts, Cormier pushed for clarification: "You stream for 10 hours, Arman?"

Tsarukyan confirmed that when he is not in an active fight camp, live broadcasting becomes his second full-time job. "Yes, we stream 10 hours from 12 PM to 10 or 11 PM," Tsarukyan said. When Cormier asked what could possibly fill that much airtime, Tsarukyan revealed that fans are simply tagging along for his normal routine. "Just my day, going to practice, but not in the camp. Just my day-to-day dinner, what I eat, what I do in my day."

The streaming pivot has paid massive dividends for the No. 2-ranked lightweight, who holds a 23-3 professional record. After a back injury forced him to pull out of a lightweight title fight against champion Islam Makhachev at UFC 311, Tsarukyan turned to streaming to keep his name in headlines and build his personal brand.

Now returning to Los Angeles at UFC 331 to face dangerous striker Mauricio Ruffy in a high-stakes co-main event, Tsarukyan enters the cage as a significantly bigger star, proving those 10-hour streaming marathons were well worth the effort.
