Rising strawweight contender, Fatima Kline, has called out the former champion, Zhang Weili after her recent win.

Rising strawweight contender, Fatima Kline picked up the biggest win of her career last time out when she dominated Tabitha Ricci to a unanimous decision victory, extending her UFC winning run to four straight.

Signing from Cage Fury, Kline had a bright future and she's shown that in the UFC. Although she lost her UFC debut to Jasmine Jasudavicius, that fight was on short notice at flyweight. Since she's dropped down to her natural weight class, she's been flawless.

She kicked off her 115lbs with two straight finishes, followed by big wins over UFC veteran Angela Hill and the highly respected, Ricci last time out.

Fatima Kline - Ready for the Elites?

#6 and Rising

Now ranked #6 in the division, Kline is set for a huge push from the UFC. The company is based on viral moments and she provided just that. Suplexing Ricci multiple times, Kline stuck her tongue out and grabbed the attention of those watching. What's more impressive is that she didn't just suplex Ricci for the sake of it, it was elite technique and highly effective.

Above her in the division are only those who have either fought for, held or are set to compete for a belt. Yan Xiaonan is booked, Tatiana Suarez is without a fight, as is Virna Jandiroba, however, it's the former champion, Zhang Weili that Kline has her eyes locked on.

Zhang Weili Callout

Speaking to MMAJunkie after her big win, Klein made it clear that she's ready to take on all comers, however, had one name in particular that she was interested in fighting. Asked who she thinks is next, she stated "Yeah I think the perfect person to put me right in line for a title shot after would be Zhang Weili or Tatina (Suaraez)".

She went on to say "I think Weili would be the perfect person. I think it would be a great fight, I think people think I could beat everybody except for Weili

"I would love to prove people wrong with that one and I'd love to prove it to myself and you know if she decides she's coming back to 115, I'd love to welcome her back".

She also noted that she enjoys being in talks with people she's looked up to for years and described it as 'flattering' and most importantly, 'motivating'.

Who do you think Fatima Kline should face next?
