Oscar De La Hoya chooses to Take Eddie Hearn's side amidst the feud, claims that Dana White doesn't know what he is doing

It is not every day that Dana White’s two business rivals stand in solidarity. Dana White’s ongoing feud with Eddie Hearn seems to have captured Oscar De La Hoya’s attention, as well.

Oscar De La Hoya believes Eddie Hearn is "cooking" Dana White

The relationship between Hearn and White has famously grown bitter in recent times. The dispute started brewing over White’s involvement in the upcoming Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua bout. Hearn’s constant disapproval of White’s claims is met with even more pushback from the UFC CEO.

Dana White’s long-time rival Oscar De La Hoya definitely has some opinions on the situation. During his appearance on “The Ariel Helwani Show”, he expressed that Zuffa Boxing might not be a “good fit” for Ryan Garcia.

Following this statement, he explained his belief about why Dana White has been facing so much backlash lately. He states that White doesn’t quite know what he is doing and then went on to criticise Dana White’s aggressive demeanour.

"Dana White doesn’t know what he’s doing. He’s not the guy that is in charge. He’s maybe like the third or fourth guy. He’s just Uncle Fester who is right there in front of the camera, f***ing can’t even give an interview because he’s f***ing cursing at the reporters.”

He proceeded to talk about the White-Hearn situation as well. When asked about it, he could not contain his laughter.

“I never thought I would say this, but I’m on Eddie’s side… I have to say I am Team Eddie right now because he’s cooking Dana,” He said.

This was not the only controversial opinion he gave on the interview.

Oscar De La Hoya believes that The Ring has 'gone to sh*t'

The rumours about the Ring magazine ownership change have been circulating among fans and businessmen alike. According to Tris Dixon and Lance Pugmire, Turki Alalshikh is set to sell his controlling stake in Ring Magazine to DAZN. Some even believe he has already done so.

When asked about this, the Golden Boy Promotions CEO poured out his grievances. He believes the credibility of both the brand and the magazine has disappeared.

"The Ring brand and the magazine, it’s gone to sh*t. It’s no secret. It’s worthless. It doesn’t mean anything anymore. The reputation, its credibility… Jesus.” He further stated his dismay, “The rankings are terrible, the propaganda, the bias… oh my God. Have you seen The Ring show with Max Kellerman? It is so bad.”

He believes that Kellerman’s reputation has gone down the drain because of this, as well Although he seems unsure about the brand’s current ownership status, he hopes for some redemption.

“I really do hope that the next entity, if it’s being sold, that buys it, I hope they restore it to its original , because The Ring was a trusted brand globally when I had it. And now it’s literally just gone to sh*t."
