The former UFC Light Heavyweight champ proved his doubters and critics wrong with a brutal first round knockout victory over Aussie favorite, James Te Huna.

As the striking exchanges ensued to get the first frame going, Te Huna was caught moving forward with a vicious left hand by ‘Shogun’, knocking him out senseless.

Te Huna was out cold. Literally.

And with this win in the bag, Rua managed to snap his two-fight losing skid. And perhaps, the pressure is off his back for now.
