Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski was set to fight in enemy territory against Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva who was a big favourite going into the fight.   Arlovski was coming off a bad victory against Brendan Schaub so not many people were counting him in, predicting Bigfoot, mostly by knockout.  Nothing is impossible in the world of MMA, and ‘Pit bull’ showed that tonight by knocking Silva out cold in the first round.  Arlovski defined himself as a contender in the divison by taking out the #4 ranked heavyweight in the world.

In the co-main event, Gleison Tibau picked up a split decision win over Piotr Hallmann.  Also on the main card, Jessica Andrade displayed a great performance as she submitted Larissa Pacheco.

As always, UFC officials announce who will take home an extra $50,000 as a Performance of the Night / Fight of the Night bonus at the post-fight press conference.

The four fighters who have earned an extra $50,000 are:

Fight of the Night: Gleison Tibau and Piotr Hallmann
