UFC Qatar is here! Today, before, the promotion recesses for the Thanksgiving holiday next week, it makes its first-ever visit to the country for this week’s card in Doha. Only two shows remain on the schedule after today.

Live coverage is underway, having begun at 10 am ET/ 7 am PT with the prelims before the main card caps the day at 1 pm ET/ 10 am PT. Stateside, this event is on ESPN+.

UFC Qatar Main Event

At the top of the bill today, it’ll be a critical contest at lightweight. No. 1 contender Arman Tsarukyan (22-3 MMA, 8-2 UFC) meets up with No. 6 contender Dan Hooker (24-12 MMA, 14-8 UFC.) It’ll be an advertised maximum of five rounds at five minutes per round to close out the show.

UFC Qatar Co-Main Event

Immediately beforehand, the UFC Qatar co-main event happens in the welterweight ranks. No. 2 contender Belal Muhammad (24-4, 1 NC MMA, 15-4, 1 NC UFC) squares off against No. 6 contender Ian Machado Garry (16-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC.) This is a three-round fight at five minutes per round.

Also tonight, you’ll be seeing a light heavyweight fixture between No. 9 contender Volkan Oezdemir (20-8 MMA, 8-7 UFC) and No. 14 contender Alonzo Menifield (17-5-1 MMA, 10-5-1 UFC,) a welterweight contest matching Jack Hermansson (24-9 MMA, 11-7 UFC) with Myktybek Orolbai (14-2-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC,) a heavyweight showdown between No. 6 contender Waldo Cortes-Acosta (15-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) and No. 11 contender Shamil Gaziev (14-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC,) and a flyweight showcase versing No. 11 contender Tagir Ulanbekov  (17-2 MMA, 6-1 UFC) with Kyoji Horiguchi (34-5, 1 NC MMA, 7-1 UFC) in the latter’s promotional return.
