UFC 333 takes place Saturday night in Abu Dhabi. We take a look at the main card:

UFC 333 fight week continues. Saturday night, the penultimate UFC event for the month of October takes place inside Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Live coverage of UFC 333 begins with the early prelims at 10 am ET/ 7 am PT. Inside the United States, this portion of the card can be seen in a simulcast on Paramount Plus and UFC Fight Pass. Late prelims follow at 12 noon ET/ 9 am PT before the main card at 2 pm ET/ 11 am PT.

Should there be no adjustments made to the bout order between now and Saturday night, the final version of UFC 333 will consist of 14 total fights. Two championship contests will highlight the evening on Saturday, as well.

UFC 333 Main Event: UFC Featherweight Championship: Alexander Volkanovski vs. No. 1 Contender Movsar Evloev: Volkanovski Vows to Drop Evloev From Undefeated Ranks

Your main event of the evening at UFC 333 takes place in the featherweight ranks. Current UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski (28-4 MMA, 15-3 UFC) meets No. 1 contender Movsar Evloev (20-0 MMA, 10-0 UFC.) This fight, as well as the co-main event of the evening, will be an advertised maximum of five rounds at five minutes each.

Alexander Volkanovski enters the fight on Saturday night with a record of 3-2 in his last five fights. At the moment, he's won two fights consecutively.

Last time out, he scored a unanimous decision against Diego Lopes (28-8 MMA, 7-3 UFC) during a rematch between the two of them in UFC 325 on Feb. 1.  Prior to this weekend's card, he made a pledge in an interview to give his opponent his first UFC defeat.

"I just think I'm the guy to take that zero from him," Volkanovski said. "He's got incredible skill."

Will Volkanovski be the one to give Evloev his first loss? Tune in and find out.

Movsar Evloev Will Have His Father in Attendance

Meanwhile, Movsar Evloev has yet to lose in his professional MMA career. On March 21, in UFC London, he secured a majority decision against Lerone Murphy (17-1-1 MMA, 9-1-1 UFC) in spite of a point deduction due to illegal shots.

Evloev will be fighting on Saturday night looking to not only impress the fans in the venue but also his father, who will be in the building for UFC 333. He talked about having his father in the crowd recently.

"It will be a great pleasure for me to win the title and share the moment with my dad, knowing he's in the arena too," Evloev said.

One last question: Can Evloev defend his family honor in UFC 333?

UFC 333 Co-Main Event: UFC Featherweight Championship: Petr Yan vs. No. 1 Contender Merab Dvalishvili III: Yan Looks for Edge in Trilogy

Immediately beforehand, the UFC 333 co-main event will see the promotion's featherweight championship at stake. Current titleholder Petr Yan (20-5 MMA, 12-4 UFC) squares off against No. 1 contender Merab Dvalishvili (21-5 MMA, 14-3 UFC.) So far, the head-to-head series between the two is level at one win each.

Yan is sporting a record of 4-1 in his last five outings. Last December, he scored a unanimous decision vs. Dvalishvili in the rematch during UFC 323 in Enterprise, NV.

It's been close to 11 months' time since the champ fought last, so how much ring rust does he have going into UFC 333?

Merab Dvalishvili Seeking Revenge vs. Petr Yan

Across the way, Merab Dvalishvili has a record of 4-1 of his own in the last five fights under MMA rules. Prior to the rematch versus Petr Yan late last fall, he'd been on a seven-fight winning streak in MMA.

On Oct. 4, 2025, he scored a unanimous decision in Salt Lake City during UFC 320 against Cory Sandhagen (18-7 MMA, 11-6 UFC.) Since Dvalishvili's second fight with Petr Yan, he's kept himself busy on the wrestling mats in RAF.

Back in August, he was on the losing end of a first-round pinfall from Henry Cejudo in RAF 12's main attraction. Dvalishvili has had close to a full year to stew over his loss to Yan, but which of these two men will emerge victorious in the trilogy?

UFC 333: No. 6 Contender Lone'er Kavanagh vs. No. 10 Contender Ramazan Temirov: Cage Warriors Alum Looks to Get Back to Victory Lane

Also on the UFC 333 main card, flyweights take to the cage when No. 6 contender Lone'er Kavanagh (10-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) battles No. 10 contender Ramazan Temirov (20-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC.) This is a three-round affair at five minutes per round.

Kavanagh enters UFC 333 with a mark of 3-2 thus far in his promotional tenure. On the night of July 11 in UFC 329, he was on the losing end of a third-round submission due to a rear-naked choke from Brandon Royval (18-9 MMA, 8-5 UFC.) In so doing, Royval pocketed the $100,000 (USD) bonus for the Fight of the Night.

So far in his UFC tenure, Kavanagh is batting .600 ball, but his opponent provides a tough challenge this weekend.

Ramazan Temirov In Search of 13th Straight Win

In the other corner, Ramazan Temirov has gone 5-0 in his last five MMA fights. At present, he's gotten his hand raised in victory 12 consecutive times.

On July 25, he versed Steve Erceg (14-5 MMA, 5-4 UFC,) defeating him with a first-round knockout. Temirov has already cracked the top 10 at 125, but does he improve his stature in the division even further on Saturday?

A word to the wise ahead of this fight: Get your popcorn ready before the contest starts. You may not have the time to pop it once the command to fight is given.

Rest of the Card

Two other bouts round out the UFC 333 main card, a heavyweight encounter between No. 2 contender Alexander Volkov (40-11 MMA, 14-5 UFC) and No. 7 contender Rizvan Kuniev (15-3-1, 1 NC MMA, 2-1 UFC) and a featherweight contest matching No. 11 contender Aaron Pico (14-5 MMA, 1-1 UFC) and Losene Keita (17-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC.)
