Dana White has shed light on a significant entertainment industry offer that's arisen for UFC star Paddy Pimblett.

Paddy Pimblett secured a spectacular first-round submission victory against fellow lightweight elite Benoit Saint Denis in the co-headlining match of the star-studded UFC 329 event on July 11.

It marked Pimblett's return to the win column. The 31-year-old was last beaten in an interim UFC lightweight championship matchup by Justin Gaethje -- who currently holds the undisputed UFC lightweight belt -- back in January.

UFC CEO and president Dana White has now asserted that Pimblett's dominant win has drawn even more attention to his already-established brand as a top-tier MMA star. White highlighted that "The Baddy" could be on the cusp of starring in a world-renowned television series.

Dana White reveals requests from "MobLand" producers to have UFC star Paddy Pimblett on the show

During a recent appearance on the Spinnin Backfist MMA Show hosted by Robbie Fox, UFC head honcho Dana White touched upon a number of topics.

Around the 12:15-minute mark of their conversation, White revealed that Pimblett has received an opportunity to appear on "MobLand" -- it's a crime-drama genre TV series mainly based in Pimblett's native, the United Kingdom.

The series stars Hollywood superstars Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren. Paramount Television Studios is one of the production companies associated with the show, and it airs on the Paramount+ network. Its first season premiered last year, and Season 2 is set to premiere this September.

Incidentally, the UFC commenced its $7.7 billion-worth deal with Paramount this January, a deal which is said to be of seven years in duration.

White stated, "So, I'm laying in bed. My phone starts ringing the next day, on Sunday, and it's the producers of 'MobLand.' They're like, 'We want Paddy Pimblett'... Yeah, I hope he does."

In response to Fox hailing Pimblett as one of the biggest stars in the UFC today, White concurred by saying that the Liverpudlian "definitely" is.

Paddy Pimblett performed in plays and liked to sing in his younger years; he has spoken about his Hollywood goals

In an appearance on veteran UFC octagon announcer Bruce Buffer's "IT'S TIME!" podcast last year, Paddy Pimblett indicated that he'd like to transition into acting after his fighting career.

The British fighter said, "But I've always said that I want to end up in Hollywood, going to end up in films or series and stuff like that."

Pimblett alluded to former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor's much-discussed mainstream Hollywood debut in the "Road House" remake back in 2024, claiming that he'd be a better actor than the legendary McGregor.

Moreover, "The Baddy" recalled having partaken in drama as a child, doing theater plays and even liking to sing.
