“I Want It in $1 Bills!” - King Green Hyped to Cash In After Opponent Misses Weight

King Green was ecstatic when he found out that his opponent had failed to make weight, and that meant he gets 20% of his opponent's purse as well.
Weight cut drama usually sends fight promoters into a panic, but lightweight veteran Bobby "King" Green isn't losing any sleep over it. Ahead of UFC 332 in Salt Lake City, Green found himself line-item richer after his main card opponent, Esteban Ribovics, missed weight on the scales.
Under standard UFC regulations, Ribovics forfeits 20 percent of his purse directly to Green for failing to hit the lightweight limit. While a scale fail often sparks tense standoffs or last-minute match cancellations, the 40-year-old fan favorite responded with pure, unadulterated joy.
“I’m getting that 20 percent!” Green laughed after getting the news. “I want it in $1 bills. Imma bring it all back to my girls in the club.”
Cash, Clashes, and Cage Action
Green enters the Salt Lake City matchup with plenty of momentum following a crisp first-round TKO over Terrance McKinney. Holding a professional record of 36-17-1 with 13 knockout victories, Green remains one of the most active and entertaining strikers in the division. Despite standing as the elder statesman against younger, rising contenders like the 16-3 Ribovics, Green views the scale drama and the extra check as just another great day at the office.
Ribovics, who came into UFC 332 fresh off a second-round stoppage victory over Edson Barboza, now faces a mental battle against a veteran who rarely gets rattled. Despite the weight miss, the lightweight scrap remains officially locked in for the main card at the Delta Center.
Green made it clear during pre-fight media appearances that he has no intention of turning the bout into a wrestling grind. Though he noted he could easily take Ribovics down, the fan favorite promised an all-out battle from the opening horn.
With an extra stack of bills secured before even stepping inside the Octagon, Green is ready to put on another show, and maybe head straight to the club afterward.
