ONE Fight Night 44 Gets Three Electrifying MMA Fights Featuring Ok Rae Yoon

After confirming the main event, ONE Championship has loaded ONE Fight Night 44 with three compelling MMA matchups.
Former ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion Ok Rae Yoon faces Brazilian star Lucas Gabriel, Armenian finisher Karen Ghazaryan takes on undefeated Japanese prospect Hisashi Ezaki at strawweight, and England's Paul Elliott meets American debutant Regan Upshaw in a heavyweight clash.
The event takes place in U.S. primetime on Friday, June 26, live from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
ONE Fight Night 44 is headlined by the lightweight Muay Thai rematch between Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong and George Jarvis, and the three MMA additions give the card significant mixed martial arts firepower.
Former Lightweight Champ Returns at ONE Fight Night 44
Ok Rae Yoon is one of the most significant names on the ONE Fight Night 44 card.
The 35-year-old South Korean made history when he claimed the ONE Lightweight MMA World Championship from Christian Lee, one of the most celebrated titleholders in the promotion's history, having already built his credentials with victories over Marat Gafurov and Eddie Alvarez.
He lost the title in a rematch against Lee, and mixed results since have left his title ambitions temporarily stalled. A commanding win over Gabriel is the clearest path back to the lightweight title conversation for a fighter with Ok's resume and track record against elite competition.
Gabriel, 26, represents a genuine challenge. The Nova União Phuket product carries an 11-1 career record and a perfect promotional run that includes four ONE victories and one no contest, making him one of the most credible unbeaten lightweight contenders in the division.
Ghazaryan Seeks First ONE Win Against Undefeated Japanese Stud
Ghazaryan holds one of the more intriguing records in the strawweight division heading into his second promotional appearance. The 24-year-old Armenian has earned all five of his professional victories by way of stoppage.
However, his ONE debut in April 2026 ended in a submission loss to Hiroba Minowa, and the hunger to reverse that result with a dominant performance against another Japanese opponent gives this strawweight matchup a sharp competitive edge.
Ezaki arrives as one of the more credible debuting athletes on the card.
The 28-year-old Japanese fighter brings a perfect 7-0 professional record into his ONE debut, with four submission victories highlighting a grappling-based game that will be tested immediately against a finisher with Ghazaryan's credentials.
College Football Champion Braces for Pro MMA Debut
Paul Elliott has earned his opportunity to face a fresh opponent.
The 33-year-old Englishman started his martial arts career in kickboxing before transitioning to MMA, and his most recent ONE appearance produced a third-round TKO of Ryugo Takeuchi, a result that ended a difficult stretch and reminded the heavyweight division of what he is capable of.
His 7-2 overall record, which includes all seven victories via finish, reflects a heavyweight with genuine finishing power across multiple methods. A second consecutive win over a hungry opponent would give Elliott the back-to-back momentum that has been absent from his ONE career.
Upshaw, 28, steps into the professional ranks carrying an amateur kickboxing championship to his name. The American's striking credentials are not in question, but translating that ability against a seasoned heavyweight who has finished every opponent he has ever beaten is the central challenge of his debut night.
Interestingly, Upshaw brings incredible athletic experience into the battle, having won two CFB National Championships as a member of Clemson’s highly regarded football team.
