Paddy Pimblett Reveals Only Caveat for Misfits Boxing Move

The Scouser has revealed the only thing standing between him and a Misfits Boxing contract, despite soaring ambitions in the UFC.
Misfits Boxing has recently claimed multiple UFC fighters for its ever-growing roster. This time, top lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett has joined the conversation. While it feels unlikely, 'The Baddy' has kept the door wide open to crossover celebrity boxing matchups, although with one condition.
Paddy Pimblett Keeps Misfits Boxing Move Under Radar
The UFC star was recently spotted at a Misfits Boxing event in London, when Gunman Boxing floated an intriguing challenge. Could the Liverpudlian take on the entire Misfits Boxing crew in one single night? That question barely rattled Pimblett.
“Obviously. Of course, I could," he replied without hesitation.
However, the possibility of him actually entering the ring for a crossover showdown hangs in the balance. Still, all it'd take to convince the Baddy to take that leap is simply the right payday.
“You never know. We’ll see if the money’s right in a couple of years."
Considering Pimblett's stacked MMA pedigree, Misfits Boxing isn't much of a serious career move. The Scouser himself views the promotion's matchups as entertaining slugfests rather than technical clashes.
Still, with Misfits' lucrative appeal and Pimblett's massive fanbase, it could make for some gripping fights if he makes the transition. However, Paddy Pimblett is hardly the first UFC fighter to consider such a move.
Major UFC Stars Signed With Misfits
Misfits Boxing has recently skyrocketed in its appeal and viewership with some of combat sports' biggest stars under its roof. Beyond the sheer absurdity of some of its proposed fights, like Dana White vs. Eddie Hearn, star power has also driven its steep growth.
Among the former UFC fighters joining the Misfits Boxing banner are Darren Till, Luke Rockhold, Henry Cejudo, and Tony Ferguson. Former UFC strawweight Pearl Gonzalez also moved to Misfits, currently holding the MFB Women's Middleweight World title.
More recently, Michael 'Venom' Page signed a multi-fight, multi-year deal with Misfits Boxing, after ending his 5-1 UFC record on a high note with four back-to-back victories. Although the deal is exclusive, Page can still compete in wrestling and grappling matches elsewhere.
The details regarding his MFB debut still remain under wraps, even though it is anticipated to be in the coming months. As for Paddy Pimblett, the lightweight menace is more focused on the 155-lbs strap, which is currently held by Justin Gaethje.
