Petr Yan is ready to live up to the weight his UFC title carries, even if that's on the street in an outmatched fight.

Petr Yan is the current  bantamweight champion and holds that belt with conviction. However, a recent interaction with two MMA content creators made that confidence clearer, with 'No Mercy' not shying away from an altercation even when he's outnumbered.

Petr Yan Offers a Brutal Reminder Amidst Hilarious Callout

In a recent post by Full Violence on Instagram, two MMA influencers, Sean (@seanystrikes) and Aidan Doms (@aidandoms), openly challenged the bantamweight king to a head-to-head 2v1 clash. Not only that, Sean even blasted Yan's ability to land a head kick on him, holding his 5'7" height and 135-lbs weight class as evidence.

However, while weight classes definitely make a difference at the elite level, when the skill gap increases, those factors quickly go out the window. Yan views this callout from a similar perspective, especially cautioning them against their overconfidence.

"Game over if you're so confident in yourself," Yan simply responded.

Aidan Doms clapped back too, urging No Mercy to put himself in the crosshairs at Dubai. Sean, who just made his amateur MMA debut at Street Beefs, cited his "elite striking pedigree and an even more elite grappling background."

Yan, however, simply laughed it off while revealing that wrestling remained out of the equation. Still, the UFC star left room for the fight to unfold differently than expected.

"You know, on a street anything can happen, so we never know," Yan explained before cheekily adding, "I'll give you 1 percent chance."

While both influencers are known for their involvement with the Full Violence combat sports brand, and Sean especially for his street fight antics, whether their unwavering conviction will hold against a UFC champion remains to be seen.

For now, Petr Yan is more focused on his upcoming showdown against Merab Dvalishvili.

Petr Yan, Merab Dvalishvili Prepare For Trilogy Fight

The pair has met on two occasions before, both producing completely different outcomes. In the first showdown in 2013, Merab Dvalishvili dominated five rounds to emerge as the clear winner. The brutal 25-minute marathon saw the Georgian land 11 takedowns and 147 significant strikes.

The rematch, however, completely flipped the script. With 'The Machine' well on his way to completing a record-breaking 4 title defenses in a year, Petr Yan positioned himself as the perfect hindrance. Over 5 rounds, No Mercy landed 139 significant strikes while successfully nullifying the Georgian's wrestling.

Now, the duo is set for a trilogy at UFC 333 on Oct. 24 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The co-main event will showcase two fighters who have consistently delivered at the highest levels, and with their previous tensions dotting the bout, fans would surely not want to miss it.
