UFC World Reacts to Henry Cejudo’s Suggestion of Double-Fights to Determine Justin Gaethje’s Challenger

With Arman Tsarukyan securing a brilliant knockout win against Mauricio Ruffy at UFC 331, the lightweight division has now sprung to life. As multiple contenders have emerged for the title, there is a big confusion as to who is really worthy of challenging for Justin Gaethje’s gold.

Recently, Henry Cejudo came up with a double-fight formula involving Ilia Topuria, Arman Tsarukyan, Paddy Pimblett, and Usman Nurmagomedov. Following his breakdown, the fans too put forth their say. 

One fan said, “Paddy doesn't deserve sh*t. And usman can fu**ing earn it, he fought cans.” 

Another fan said, “That would be very risky and dangerous first fight for usman in ufc I think they should give him someone in top 10 rather else high likelihood he will get slimed out like his brother due to lack of ufc level experience.”

A third commented, “lol what more does arman have to do ?”

A fan opined, “Bro Arman doesn’t need to fight anybody else to get a title shot, Cejudo has so many dummy takes.”

A user wrote, “At this im pretty sure ali is forcing them to add in ts in their talking points cause there’s no way. Let arman get his title shot he’s suffered enough.”

This fan predicted, “Not a chance arman fights usman unless the belts on the line, he’s been fu**ed over long enough.” 

What was Henry Cejudo’s Roadmap to Find Perfect Title Contender?

‘Triple C’ recently appeared on his podcast to discuss how UFC can pinpoint the exact fighter worthy of a title shot. Initially, it was Ilia Topuria who was pushing for his rematch. Next up, Tsarukyan proved his dominance with a vicious knockout of Mauricio Ruffy. In hindsight, Pimblett, too, has already teased that he wants to fight for the belt. 

Trying to sum up the situation, Cejudo stated, “If Justin Gaethje really is that hurt, then check what I'm about to say... You do Ilia Topuria vs. Paddy 'The Baddy' (Pimblett). Check this out. You do Usman Nurmagomedov vs. Arman Tsarukyan." 

He also said, “Whoever performs the best out of all, gets the damn title shot against your boy, Justin 'The Highlight' Gaethje." 

The heat is getting stronger. Now, it is up to the UFC and Dana White to determine what’s next.
