UFC's Paulo Costa Reacts To Jake Paul's Controversial Training Clip

Paulo Costa questions whether Jake Paul is a better fighter than Logan Paul after a new viral training clip.
Jake Paul found himself in another unusual controversy when he was recently seen in an internet clip hitting a punching bag with a giant snake wrapped around it. This clip was originally posted on Instagram by a famous wildlife adventurer named @spidey24, along with some pics that showed him with Jake and the huge reptile on that punching bag.
Obviously, this video drew a lot of criticism on the internet for the wildlife creator as well, 'The Problem Child'. Many X users called it animal cruelty and abuse.
The Paul brothers are absolutely no strangers to controversies. If you were to list them all, it'd take days. In that same vein, if somebody's best at getting the attention of the masses, then that's Jake and Logan Paul. This time, Paul's bizarre training clip was able to gather the attention of a top UFC middleweight contender, Paulo Costa.
Paulo Costa Questions Whether Jake Paul is Better than His Brother
Paulo, the former UFC middleweight title challenger, replied to the clip of the American doing his antics with the reptile and wrote:
I sparred in boxing with Logan Paul five years ago; it wasn't a real fight. Do you think @jakepaul is better than him?

Costa was referring to the sparring session he had with Logan at UFC PI in 2020. Logan also posted a vlog of this event on his YouTube. The biggest highlight of this video was when these two squared off in the ring, Logan Paul was no match for Paulo Costa, who lands a clean overhand right that sends the WWE superstar down on the mat.
Paulo Costa Compares Jake Paul with His Brother Logan
Back then, both of these brothers only had one pro boxing bout each. While Logan Paul didn't fight much as he's been more focused on his pro wrestling career, Jake has competed in 14 pro boxing matches.
Although almost everyone Jake has beaten has an asterisk after their name considering their age, activity, or condition. On record, he holds victories over legendary names like Anderson Silva, Mike Tyson, Mike Perry, and Tyron Woodley inside the ring.
Based on their boxing records, the answer to Paulo Costa's question is, "Yes, Jake is a better boxer." Whether he can hang out with a beast in his prime is a whole different story.
Jake Paul Left Smarting From Anthony Joshua Knockout Loss
The last time Jake Paul fought someone who didn't have an asterisk, it was former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. That night, upon sustaining a brutal knockout, Jake Paul required surgery.
Paulo Costa, on the other hand, is a man who's coming off an incredible performance over fellow UFC middleweight contender Azamat Murzakanov, where he knocked him out with a head kick.
Jake Paul, hasn't responded to Paulo's comment so far, but it'll be pretty interesting to see these two throw shade at each other on social media considering their unique personalities. By any chance, if these two agree to any kind of combat match, that'd be a huge spectacle to watch.
