Michael Bisping reveals one fight for Paddy Pimblett that “makes all the sense in the world”

Michael Bisping revealed one fight he believes makes perfect sense for Paddy Pimblett after his UFC 329 win and believes the Brit deserves a major matchup next.
Paddy Pimblett left fans stunned at UFC 329. He silenced all the doubters as he submitted Benoit Saint Denis in less than a minute in the first round, which earned him the performance of the night bonus.
Questions arise about what's next for Pimblett: a fight with Max Holloway, Ilia Topuria, a rematch with Justin Gaethje for the lightweight title, or some other fight. Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping believes Pimblett should be involved in a championship-level fight next, but not necessarily for the lightweight title.
Michael Bisping reveals ideal fight for Paddy Pimblett
In his recent YouTube video, Bisping feels that Pimblett has proved he belongs in the elite competition and suggests that ‘The Baddy' should get the opportunity to fight former UFC lightweight champion and current BMF titleholder Charles Oliveira for the latter's belt.
He insists that the fight should be booked at Madison Square Garden, as the UFC will return for UFC 334 in November.
“I do think a fight with him against Charles Oliveira for the BMF at Madison Square Garden makes all the sense in the world,” Bisping said. “Patty Pimblett is one of the sport's hottest properties. People absolutely love this guy and he's proven that he's a real fighter. He's not just a gimmick.”
Bisping praised Pimblett's personality while emphasizing that his appeal goes far beyond his appearance, accent, and entertainment value. He pointed out that the lightweight Brit has proved himself every time he has gone into that cage.
“He's not just a haircut and an accent. The man is a world-class fighter, and he's a very, very dangerous operator. Also an awesome guy. People love this guy. That's why cuz he's awesome. He's hilarious. And he backs it up inside the octagon.”

Could Paddy Pimblett and Charles Oliveira Meet for the BMF Title?
Charles Oliveira was expected to face Arman Tsarukyan at UFC 331. However, Tsarukyan is now set to fight Mauricio Ruffy after the latter revealed that he was originally scheduled to face Oliveira, who withdrew following the death of his close friend and UFC flyweight fighter Allan Nascimento.
However, reports are circulating that Oliveira is expected to face Diego Lopes for the BMF title. That said, the former champion denied the rumors but revealed that he wants to fight once before the end of the year.
If not Oliveira, Pimblett could face Topuria, as the two had an infamous backstage altercation at a UFC event and have continued trading verbal jabs ever since.
