UFC Vegas 120 Weigh-Ins: Perfect Session Friday!

UFC Vegas 120 is almost here. Saturday night, after an extended road trip, MMA's No. 1 promotion returns to its Enterprise, NV homebase. Meta Apex serves as the setting for this week's UFC event. 

Live coverage of UFC Vegas 120 kicks off Saturday afternoon with the prelims at 5 pm ET/ 2 pm PT. Stateside, the card can be seen from start to finish via Paramount Plus. 

Main card action caps the activities at Meta Apex at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT. All told, 12 fights will take place inside the fabled Octagon this second weekend of August. 

UFC Vegas 120 Main, Co-Main Events Cleared for Takeoff in Flawless Weigh-In Window Friday Morning

Earlier this morning, the official weigh-ins for UFC Vegas 120 took place in Enterprise. None of the fighters booked to appear on UFC Vegas 120 missed weight, including those competing in tomorrow night's main event.

No. 8 contender Mateusz Gamrot (155 1/2 lbs) fights No. 12 contender Quillan Sallkild (155 1/2 lbs) in the headliner. Both men came in half of a pound under the 156-lb lightweight nontitle maximum for this five-round fight at five minutes per round. 

The co-main event of the evening will also take place in the lightweight division between Diego Ferreira (154 1/2 lbs) and Billy Quarantillo (155 1/2 lbs.) This is a three-round affair at five minutes apiece. Quarantillo will be moving up from featherweight for the UFC Vegas 120 co-main event

Darren Elkins Makes Weight Ahead of Final Career Appearance at UFC Vegas 120

Right before the UFC Vegas 120 co-main event, a veteran featherweight will be making the walk to the cage for the last time in his career as a fighter. Darren Elkins (145 1/2 lbs) battles Yadier del Valle (145 1/2 lbs) in his retirement bout. 

Elkins recently said at UFC Vegas 120 media day that he would not entertain a move to BKFC after departing the UFC, remarking "I'd probably die."
